WASHINGTON (Reuters] – The U.S. president Joe Biden, on Friday, welcomed a global deal that would ensure large companies pay a minimal 15% tax rate. This agreement will help American families who are working.

Biden stated that American workers and taxpayers had paid the price for the tax system that rewarded multinational corporations for sending jobs and profits offshore for many decades. “This race to the bottom hasn’t just harmed American workers, it’s put many of our allies at a competitive disadvantage as well.”
