BUDAPEST (Reuters] – Hungary is now ready to sign the agreement for a global corporate tax minimum as its conditions have been fulfilled, Mihaly Varga from Finance Ministry said on Friday.
Varga stated that “we have reached a breakthrough in the global minimum tax agreement… so Hungary was able to join the deal with good intentions.” Varga also said that Hungary’s corporate tax rate of 9% will not be affected as there will be an effective solution to collecting the global tax.
