(Reuters] – A former U.S. president Donald Trump attempted to withhold documents related to Jan. 6 attacks on the Capitol from Congress, according to NBC News.

White House Counsel Dana Remus refused to release documents that were requested by the House Select Committee about the activities of the former president on January 6, 2017. The report added, citing an email to the National Archives.
