IMF board seeks more details on claims against Georgieva

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The International Monetary Fund executive board met without a decision on Kristalina Georgieva’s future. It stated that it will seek out more details about allegations she made to the World Bank about manipulating data in order to favor China during her former role.

Although the IMF stated that the board made significant progress, it agreed to ask for more details in order to conclude its investigation of the matter as soon as possible.
