MEXICO CITY, (Reuters) – The U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ken Salazar called the migration crisis in Haiti a “very important” problem for the United States as well as Mexico. He also said that both nations must lead the way to addressing it.

Salazar’s statements at a press conference were made the day after Antony Blinken (US Secretary of State) met with Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, Mexican President, on a meeting aimed at strengthening ties.
