Jonathan Delucia, CTO at Vacay Finance and Medabots. In addition to this, he is also an entrepreneur and a prominent Silicon Valley business leader. He has made a significant contribution to crypto. Additionally, he will speak at the World Blockchain Summit in Dubai.

Jonathan was asked questions by the CoinQuora team to get to know him and his work at Medabots and Vacay. We also wanted to hear about his views on the industry. Without further ado, here’s the interview.

Q. We need to know more about you. What’s your background?

My name is Jonathan Delucia, and I’m from the United States of America. Amie is my wife, I’m currently married and have two lovely daughters. I also have a third baby on the way. While my professional path has led me to many different paths, it all started in the United States Army. Now I own and manage my business. My business is my main focus, but I also serve as CTO of Medabots Finance and Vacay Finance. I have a high school diploma and a B.S. in Network and Communications Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration with a Certification in Media Communications. In addition to owning small, successful tech companies in San Francisco Bay Area I’ve also worked for several years in the industry as a systems administrator. My education and experience as a manager in technology have allowed me to be the best CTO. I strive to make security, and our investors’ best interest my number one priority. My last but not the least, my voice acting and impressions are my forte. I will have my voice featured in several new crypto games, which will release within 2-6 months. I can’t think of any better place to be that will allow me to do what I love, which is work in the crypto space and entertain others with my voices and impressions.

Q. Q. What’s your motivation?

While working at my carpentry shop late, a friend called me asking if my experience in business and technology could be applied to the crypto market. At first, I didn’t know what to say. Crypto? What about me? It was a huge leap of faith that I took and agreed to do it. Three weeks later, Vacay was launched. The experience proved to be a great one filled with extreme stress and high levels of adrenaline. This was aided by the uncertainty that came from being in a completely new area. It was a success and it was a lot of fun! In the last five months of project development, I’ve grown tremendously. In such a short time, I’m truly proud of the things I accomplished. From being the Chief Technology Officer of Vacay, I became the man with all connections on the BSC. My passion was also found in crypto. Along with my friends and family’s support, I found my new talent on the BSC space which I have Breaking Bad star Daniel Moncada to thank for helping me find my true passion. Daniel saw me as a young man, soaking up knowledge like a sponge. Daniel reached out to me and made it possible for me to become an impressionist and voice actor. There is nothing I enjoy more than being on the microphone and speaking in public. Daniel has been a great friend and confidante.

It is my motivation to get up each morning doing what I love. This includes helping to manage the business and developing a relationship with our investors. I like to let them know at Medabots and Vacay we don’t just care about your investment we care about the person making that investment and I will do everything in my power to maintain that trust for years to come.

Q. What was your first idea for starting the company you are currently running? We would love to hear about your company.

It was an easy decision to choose Vacay. You can pay with cryptocurrency and receive exclusive discounts from our partners. This is the future of crypto, and I knew it immediately. We’ve been able to recruit people from the community that have greatly helped us. For the past 5 months, Mr. Chaptem has been at VC each night at 6:00 PST to attend an AMA. He refuses to quit because of his belief in this project as well as how important these investors are to him. They aren’t just looking for investors; they want to help legitimate long-term projects.

It was a total shock for me to discover Medabots! At first, the name was on the tip of my tongue but I couldn’t remember where I saw this name before. It was an old tv series that I used to watch as a child. Nostalgia hit me like none other. I anxiously couldn’t wait to be a part of making something that I used to enjoy watching as a kid. We were able quickly to build a team using all the information I had gained in the past five months. This launch has been my most memorable and will make a significant impact on the cryptocurrency gaming industry. It is a unique project, which will appeal to all age groups, because you can use Medacoin for in-game purchases, such as NFTS, Medapets and other items, all via your crypto wallet.

Q. Q. How is it unique from all other crypto-/blockchain businesses?

Medabots’ unique selling point is also what makes it different from others like it in the crypto space. The fact that Medabots is an internationally-recognized IP since the 1990s and has been a trusted brand for more than 20 years is proof of this. Medabots’ entire team participates in daily video chats. This includes relaying all news and information to listeners. A YouTube channel promotes the latest information/reveals. We have partnerships with Luis Moncada and Daniel from Breaking Bad. Bitboy will also have Medabots for each of their characters. Another positive news is that Medacoin was listed on LBank, a Tier 1 exchange within the first week we were live on BSC. Other top 10 exchanges are also looking for us.

Vacay is itself in a completely different situation because the cryptocurrency space has not yet seen the full potential of the travel industry. We have secured strategic partners who offer travel services not available on Travala. Expedia (NASDAQ) Exclusive partnerships have been established in Ibiza, the EU and other countries. We are currently looking for partnerships with U.S.-based partners. Vacay’s unique platform will let its investors use their Vacay token to rent, book, or even buy food. It is not like any other traveling cryptocurrency.

Q. Q. What are your thoughts on current trends in crypto markets?

Two particular trends I see in cryptocurrency are extremely helpful at the moment. P2E is a concept that allows video games to be played in cryptocurrency. P2E is going change how adults use video games. P2E’s greatest benefit is what it offers its users. P2E can be used to create employment opportunities in certain countries. However, these people will still have the ability to play P2E and generate enough income to provide for their family’s needs. Another trend I have noticed is the rise of staking, and platforms that allow for staking. Every project should make use of the opportunity to offer staking and implement it into their projects early. Staking can provide security for investors and a strong foundation to allow for growth.

Q. We would love to hear your opinions on Blockchain technology’s future and Fintech development.

Blockchain technology is a promising future frontier. I believe we are only scratching the surface. One good example is the almost weekly influx of new technology into blockchain technology. Our imagination only limits what blockchain has to offer, which is being challenged as more developers become experienced in the crypto space. Because they recognize the real benefits of cryptocurrency and how it can help improve their quality of life, crypto-friendly countries are increasing in number. Another cool thing about the DeFi space is, being able to take control of our personal finances — which is why I believe FinTech is such an incredible asset to the space. They are the answer to long term projects and that is what it’s all about because they confront and challenge the normal assumptions of how low end the space is because it is so volatile. FinTech firms provide long-term investments to investors. Some of their clients need individual guidance.

Q. Are there any details you can share regarding your projects?

Prior to these projects, I was involved in a project called Cocktail. Cocktail was the reason I chose to work on it. It offered a multiplier for auto rewards from sells and buys. Cocktail’s community engagement role was my lowest level. To prove that I was worth the effort and to be a success in this space, I instantly jumped into every aspect of Cocktail. My goal was to make a direct positive impact on the charts, and create a public image of the token. “Fully Voxxed” was born at Cocktail which was also where I was fortunate enough to meet Daniel Moncada, who himself has taken me on a wild adventure that I would never want to look back on.

The event brought together many of the most prominent players from the blockchain space. It is a great opportunity to see the faces and make connections. It is sometimes difficult to find that personal touch in crypto-industry. This is why it is so important to attend a high-profile event to connect and build lasting relationships.
