LONDON, (Reuters) – Inflation is a concern in Britain and the Bank of England is going to do a great job of curbing it. However, the government has the right focus on higher wages. Kwasi Kwarteng, entrepreneur, stated on Sunday.

A business department should be concerned about rising costs. He said that he also believes in higher wages, but that he does not agree with rising costs. Recent arguments by the Conservative Government of Britain have suggested that increasing wages is the best solution to labor shortages in areas like haulage.

Kwarteng was asked if the public should prepare for an increase in interest rates.

“The bank’s independence is a strength and it will always have a point of view. “The bank will try to reduce inflation. This is their main motive. We have to be able to contain rising living costs.
