Winds delay Blue Origin’s space launch with Shatner By Reuters

Blue Origin Space Company, Jeff Bezos’s space company, said Sunday that they had pushed the launch target for this week of their New Shepard vehicle to Wednesday. It delayed William Shatner’s journey to the edge in space by a full day.
Blue Origin stated in a statement that “Due to the forecasted winds Tuesday, October 12th, Blue Origin’s Mission Operations Team has decided to delay the launch NS-18. They are now targeting Wednesday October 13.”
Shatner, who is most well-known for being Captain Kirk in “Star Trek”, will lead a team of four onboard the suborbital NS-18 mission.
