Boeing mandates COVID-19 vaccination for U.S. employees By Reuters

(Reuters) – Boeing Co (NYSE:) Co announced Tuesday that U.S. workers will be required to produce proof of COVID-19 immunity or an approved medical or religious exemption prior to Dec. 8. This is in accordance with President Joe Biden’s directive for federal contractors.

American Airlines (NASDAQ;) and Spirit AeroSystems, an American aircraft manufacturer, announced that the U.S. planemaker would comply with the executive orders.

Last week, President Biden said that more U.S. companies should require workers to get COVID-19 vaccines. He called the decision vital for ending the pandemic as well as sustaining America’s economy.
