© Reuters. Israel stocks rise at the close of trading; TA35 up 0.54%Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
Tel Aviv’s closing bell saw an additional 0.54%, bringing it to a new record.
Nova (TASE) was the best performer of the session, rising 4.64% to 1460 points and trading at 32930 at close. During this time, Energix TASE: added 2.58%, or 35 points, to close at 1389. Israel Discount Bank Ltd was also up (TASE :), or 44 points, to 1804 in late trading.
Perrigo, TASE: (which fell 2.62% and 390 points respectively to trade at 14500 at close) were the session’s worst performers. Ormat Technologies TASE: (trial and error system) fell 1.73%, or 390 points, to 22120. Tower Semiconductor Ltd was lower by 1.26% (120 points) to 9392.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 299 to195, and ended the day unchanged.
Israel Discount Bank Ltd. shares rose to new heights (TASE:), rising 2.5% or 44 to 1804.
Crude oil rose 0.2% or 0.23 to $80.75/barrel for November delivery. Brent oil fell 0.15 or 0.1% to $83.50 per barrel in commodity trading. The December Gold Futures contract rose 0.322% or 5.55, to $1761.25 an ounce.
The USD/ILS exchange rate was up 0.1% to 3.2316 while the EUR/ILS exchange rate rose by 0.07%, to 3.7294.
At 94.438, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.12%.
