Jelurida Africa, proud to announce that the East Africa Blockchain Expedition will be taking place on October 23rd 2021. Through the sharing of stories, the expedition aims to inform East African residents about blockchain technology. This expedition will also allow participants to obtain Blockchain certification, which opens the door for wider adoption and development of this technology.

Jelurida Africa will launch the East Africa Block Expedition in October 2021. Its primary purpose is to introduce blockchain technology to East African residents and to show them its potential. It can have a significant impact on the lives and businesses of numerous people as well as service providers.

Blockchain education in Africa has been largely done through a theoretical approach. There is no chance for users to actually learn the technology. Because there is not enough rich platforms to allow people to see the many possible applications of Blockchain technology, this makes it difficult for them to learn. The tour will fill that knowledge gap. Ignis’ rich features and Ardor will be combined in solution-oriented training. The goal is to allow the audience to experience the true power of this technology as it was intended.

Jerlurida Africa, the East Africa Blockchain Expedition organizer, will be focusing on several aspects. The first aspect is storytelling through personal experiences, creating a more relatable topic involving blockchain technology and its impact on people’s lives. This event is open to the public as well as private sector. You can learn more about blockchain technology and get a certification in order to investigate further possibilities.

The second is to encourage more people to join the Jelurida community to spread blockchain technology. Jelurida Africa, a network of smart contract and DLT experts, can provide insights and ideas to help other people explore DLT opportunities in their lives or businesses. Participants will get e-books free of charge to encourage continuous learning.

East Africa Block Expedition is 30-day trip that takes you through East Africa, beginning in Ethiopia and ending at Tanzania. Jelurida Africa plans meetings with officials from government, tech hubs, banks and universities in order to arrange multiple meetups on site. You will be able to unlock innovative use cases for blockchain technology after hearing about the amazing stories.

The Expedition also serves as the foundation for a community initiative that fosters continuous communication between developers and enthusiasts across East Africa. It is only the beginning for a huge blockchain development boom. Jelurida African will start the seeds while local developers and communities make the projects fully-fledged.

The East Africa Blockchain Expedition, in general, will grow developer communities and increase the number blockchain enthusiasts. It also streamlines solution development for the larger ecosystem. Up until now, West Africa was the main focus and center of technology companies. East Africa is embracing blockchain technology at a much faster pace.

Jelurida has demonstrated great interest in the Ardor blockchain. Ardor was used in Vienna to crowdsource waste and recycle it into the electricity grid. A similar initiative in East Africa would be extremely valuable. There are potential benefits to this initiative, including reducing dependence on fossil fuels and saving money.
