Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Saudi Arabia’s closing ceremony saw an additional 0.2%.

National Petrochemical Company, which gained 5.93% (or 2.75 points) to close at 49.15, was the best performer of the session. Methanol Chemicals Company (+4.59%) gained 1.70 points to finish at 38.70, while Dur Hospitality (+4.20%) was up 1.40 to 34.70.

Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE) was the worst performer of the session, falling 4.19% or 2.50 to close at 57.20. Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund’s (SE) dropped 3.65%, 0.54 points to finish at 14.26. Etihad Attheeb Telecommunication (SE) fell 3.62%, 1.100 points or to 29.250.

By 127 to 70, falling stocks outnumbered the advancing on Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange. 12 was left unchanged.

Methanol Chemicals Company’s shares rose by 4.59%, or 1.70 to 38.5.

Crude oil was 0.12 percent higher at $80.64 per barrel for November delivery, or 0.15%. Brent oil fell 0.16 percent to $83.49 per barrel. Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contract rose by 0.66% to $1767.30 an ounce.

EUR/SAR declined 0.13% from 4.3263 to 3.7508 while USD/SAR rose by 0.01% at 3.7508.

At 94.502, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.19%.
