GM extending Bolt production halt for two additional weeks By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters), General Motors (NYSE 🙂 stated Wednesday that they will prolong a production halt for Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicles for an additional two weeks. The company is working to increase battery module production and prioritise recall repairs.
The Bolt’s largest U.S. manufacturer increased its recall to 140,000 cars in August to repair battery modules. The Bolt is manufactured at GM’s Orion Assembly Plant in Michigan. It has been shut down since August 23.
