Nestle revamps geographic structure, makes new board appointments By Reuters

ZURICH (Reuters – Nestle, the largest food and beverage company in the world, announced Wednesday that it is reorganizing its geographical structure. This will create new areas for North America as well as Greater China.

Nescafe Instant Coffee and KitKat Chocolate Bars maker also stated that they were changing their executive board in order to be more aligned with the new structure. The change takes effect Jan. 1, 2022.

Chris Johnson, a company veteran, is retiring from Nestle’s executive boards. He was the head of the sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Oceania zones of Nestle. Remy Ejel will replace him.

Steve Presley, current Chairman and CEO Nestlé USA, will join the Executive Board as CEO Zone North America. Nestle also announced that David Zhang (current CEO of Totole, Nestle’s food seasonings business) will be joining the Executive Board as the Head of the Greater China Business.
