Baosteel says it will fight Nippon Steel’s patent infringement claim By Reuters

LONDON (Reuters) – China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel Co Ltd (Baosteel) said on Thursday it did not agree with Japanese rival Nippon Steel’s claims that it infringed patents.

Nippon Steel announced Thursday that it has brought lawsuits against Baosteel. Toyota Motor Corp (NYSE:) with a Tokyo District Court

Baosteel stated in a statement that it approached Nippon Steel repeatedly about this claim, but was rejected.

Company stated that it had followed all regulations. They would respond to any lawsuits “assassinatively” and defend their rights and interests.
