Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The close of Tel Aviv saw the stock rise 0.92%, achieving a new record high.
They were the top performers at the session Ormat Technologies TASE:, which surged 4.49% to 1010 points and traded at 23500 by the close. Nova (TASE) gained 2.63%, or 850 points, to close at 33175. Tower Semiconductor Ltd was also up 2.9%, or 231 to 9516 in late trading.
These were the worst performers of the session. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE :), fell 1.83% (560 points) to close at 30120. Melisron, TASE:), fell 1.54% or to trade at 26190. Shapir Engineering Industry TASE: was at a record low of 1.31%, or 34 points, to 2553
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining ones by 303 to 184, while 35 ended the same.
November crude oil delivery rose 0.72%, or 0.58, to $81.02 per barrel. Brent oil rose 0.66 or 0.79% to $83.84 per barrel in commodity trading. The December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22 percent or 3.65, to $1798.35 an ounce.
The USD/ILS declined 0.00% at 3.2224 while the EUR/ILS dropped 0.01% at 3.7353.
US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.1% at 93.983.
