MOSCOW, (Reuters) – Russia will prioritize supplies of gas for its own market. This was the message that Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minster, said at a forum Thursday.

Novak stated that Gazprom (MCX) intends to fill domestic storage before the end of the month depending on weather conditions. He also reiterated the fact that nobody in Europe asked Russia for additional gas to help calm the surging spot price.
