Taiwan Semiconductor, Investing.com reported Thursday that the third quarter beat analyst forecasts with revenue that was below expectations.

Taiwan Semiconductor posted earnings per share (EPS) of 1.07 for revenue 14.74 billion. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS at 1.04 for revenue 14.84B.

Taiwan Semiconductor shares have risen 0.86% since the start of the year. However, they are still 22.65% below their 52-week high of 142.19 on February 16. The shares are performing better than the, which has dropped 0% since the beginning of the year.

Taiwan Semiconductor reported on the heels of Adobe’s earnings beat of September 21. Adobe reported an EPS figure of 3.11 on revenues of 3.94B. This compares to Adobe’s forecast of EPS at 3.01 on revenues of 3.89B.

Accenture beat all expectations with fourth quarter earnings per share (EPS) of 2.2 on 13.42B revenue, as compared to the forecast of EPS at 2.19 for revenue of 13.43B.
