Tesla Xpeng Nio BYD are best-selling electric cars in 2021

BEIJING — TeslaAccording to industry data, the best-selling models of electric cars in China occupied two of the three top spots.
Elon Musk’s automaker sold more than 200,000 electric cars in China during those three quarters — 92,933 Model Ys and 111,751 Model 3s, according to the passenger car association.
China made up about one fifth of Tesla’s revenues last year. In the beginning of this year, Tesla, a U.S.-based automobile manufacturer, began delivering its Model Y second China-made car. It also offers other services. launched a cheaper version of the car in July.
Tesla’s share price has risen by nearly 15% in this year’s first quarter, but the shares of U.S.-listed Nio have fallen more than 25%. Xpeng lost close to 7% over that period.
