(Reuters) – Booster Doses of The Pfizer Inc (NYSE BioNTechSE COVID-19 vaccine increased severe disease protection among people over 40 years of age, Israel’s Health Ministry said to an independent panel of U.S Food and Drug Administration representatives on Thursday.

Israel, which closely monitors vaccines in its populace, stated in a slide presentation, that the administration of a booster dose resulted in greater protection against confirmed infections among those 16-plus.
