White House says Biden has yet to make a decision about new FDA commissioner By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – White House press Secretary Jen Psaki stated on Thursday that U.S. president Joe Biden is still waiting to decide on the nominee for head of Food and Drug administration.

Many media outlets have reported that Biden’s attention is on Robert Califf who was the former FDA Commissioner. But Psaki replied “not yet” to a question about whether President Obama has taken a final decision.

Psaki said, “We’re certainly keen to complete this within a short time.”
