The bullish sentiment keeps growing after bitcoin’s price broke above $57,000 on October 15. CoinMarketCap reports that bitcoin has gained 3.17% within the last 24 hour.
The price surge drew analysts’ attention to see a continued upside, with some calling for a return to the all-time high near $64,000.
Bitcoin is close to its record high, having jumped more than 95% from a July low. Yesterday’s trading volume of Bitcoin was $57,000, but it jumped to $59,000 this morning. BTC trades currently at $59 601.09 and has a market cap at $1,126 26,660,136.
The king of cryptocurrency, however, is only steps away from recovering its April 14 record high of $64,804, reached on the date Coinbase (NASDAQ) went public. This was the largest exchange in America.
More so, this BTC price surge comes after Bloomberg reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) didn’t oppose the launch of a futures-based Bitcoin exchange-traded fund in the U.S.
These altcoins, such as, the second largest crypto, Polygon Matic, FTX token, and many other, saw their prices rise due to this surge in BTC.
