The Secretary of the Interior Deb Haland stated Wednesday that the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management could hold to seven new offshore lease sales by 2025The Atlantic and Pacific Coastlines as well as Gulf of Mexico will be targeted. It is all part of President Joe Biden’s effort to create a polluting power sector by 2035.
