MOSCOW (Reuters] – The Russian MiG-31 fighter plane was scrambled by the U.S. to escort a U.S. B-1B tactical bomber over the Sea of Japan. This news came just days after the incident with a U.S. Naval destroyer in that region.

According to it, the bomber hadn’t crossed the Russian border.

Russia claimed that a U.S. warship tried to invade Russian territorial waters in the Sea of Japan. This was contrary to Washington’s assertion.
