MOSCOW (Reuters), – After spending twelve days at the International Space Station, (ISS) a Russian actor and a director of film made the first spacemove film returned home to Earth Sunday.

Oleg Novitskiy, Yulia Perusild, and Klim Shipenko were aboard the Soyuz MS-18 capsule that was carrying Russian ISS crew members. The space capsule landed in a faraway area of Kazakhstan around 07:35 a.m. (0435 GMT), Roscosmos reported.

The crew was already three hours away from the ISS when they dedocked.

Russian state television footage captured the reentry capsule falling under its parachute over the Kazakh steppe. Ground personnel assisted the crew when they emerged from their capsule.

Peresild is most well-known for her 2015 role in “Battle for Sevastopol”, but she said that she regretted leaving the ISS.

After the landing, the actor aged 37 said that he was in a “bit of sadness today”.

“That’s because it seemed like 12 days had passed so quickly, but it ended and I couldn’t wait to say goodbye,” she stated.

Bill Shatner (90-year-old actor from the United States – Captain James Kirk in “Star Trek”) – was last week named as the oldest spaceperson aboard Blue Origin’s rocketship. He flew it with billionaire Jeff Bezos.

Roscosmos stated that Peresild, Shipenko were sent to Russian Star City (the home of Russia’s space program on the outskirts Moscow) for post-flight recuperation. This will take approximately a week.
