Investing.com – U.S. stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

These were the worst performers WestRock Co (NYSE 🙂 fell 5.58% at 46.57 in late trading, International Paper (NYSE 🙂 dropped 4.53% to 53.28 Packaging Corp American (NYSE:), which fell 3.88% to 133.71 by the closing

Top performers of the NASDAQ Composite are LM Funding America Inc (NASDAQ:), which increased 38.08% at 4.750; Waitr Holdings Inc, (NASDAQ:), which was up 38.86% at 1.4200; Jasper Therapeutics Inc, (NASDAQ:), which gained 31.57% at 16.420.

These were the worst performers Duck Creek Technologies Inc (NASDAQ.) fell 24.42% to 34.994 in late-trade, but Very Good Food Company Inc. (NASDAQ.) lost 21.40% to settle for 1.80 Lucid Diagnostics Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 was at its lowest point of 20.49%, closing at 9.35
