LONDON, (Reuters) – British authorities have begun to consider additional safety measures for parliamentarians following the stabbing death of a British lawmaker. Priti Patel, an interior minister, told Sky News Sunday that more security precautions were being considered.

Conservative David Amess was repeatedly knifed during the attack on Friday, around noon, in Leigh-on-Sea (east of London), at a meeting with constituents.
