Biden to speak to Senator Manchin on spending bill By Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – U.S. president Joe Biden announced Monday that he will speak with Senator Joe Manchin. Manchin is a centrist Democrat representing coal-rich West Virginia and whose vote has been crucial in the passage the budget reconciliation bill currently pending in Congress.

Biden answered reporters from the White House asking how he plans to convince Manchin support for his agenda. He pointed to Oval Office, and stated: “We’re already doing that.” This is what I am doing.
