Dubai is one of the cities in the world that holds one of the largest blockchain gatherings in today’s time. Many prominent leaders of the crypto world attended the World Blockchain Summit held at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai. The CoinQuora team is happy we’ve been part of this event where we met many great icons in the crypto space. We enjoyed Dr. Tamer and my talk, and we look forward to sharing our conversations with all those interested.

Q. Q. Can you tell us about yourself and what projects are you currently working on?

Yes. Thank you so much for the interview. My name is Dr. Tamer Mitwally, I work for DIFX, I’m actually the Chief Strategy Officer there. There are many projects that we have. We are currently working on our blockchain project, which is the future. When it comes to blockchain and smart contracts, we have developed a DIFX token and that’s where the name of the company comes from. DIFX stands for digital financial exchange, that’s where the abbreviation comes from. DIFX token is built on blockchain (ERC20). Additionally, an exchange was created where DIFX tokens could be traded. Our mobile app is available for both Android and iOS.

Blockchain is the place where security can be found. Now, as you know, when people trade you don’t know who is trading in and what they’re trading, with blockchain, the trader will be able to track the frauds that are going around. Blockchain is a way to reduce fraud and provide high levels of security. This is why we consider it a major advantage. Because it’s the heart of our business, blockchain technology is crucial to our project.

It’s our second day at the World Blockchain Summit. WBS has given us a lot more connections. In addition, here, we’ve seen so many people who also have that mentality of supporting blockchains. There have been many synergies between us and other organizations. We also met a lot of people who’s actually quite interested in our products, because we also make tokens using blockchains, so we have met a lot of these potential clients. We also met businesses that are interested in blockchains and can work together to grow.

Look, there’s a lot of exciting things happening with DIFX. Because we are part of an ecosystem, for example, we can have our digital wallets. We have just created the fun app which is a fantastic achievement. As I explained, there are more accomplishments to be made. For example, a digital wallet that provides higher security, rather than people placing digital assets (or cryptocurrencies) somewhere that might not be secure. In fact, insurance has been provided for clients. There have also been many improvements to our exchange platform, which allows them to trade more flexible and earn higher returns.

WBS did a great job. This is a great event. We are very active with events, we’ve got a future blockchain summit that we’re going to and we’re also involved in the expo 2020. As an Australian, I feel privileged to have been part of WBS UAE. Because some countries that you saw restricts crypto where we don’t have that luxury to actually have face-to-face events locking up. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful country as this. We are grateful for being a part of so many events. Expo 2020 is a great opportunity to see us there.
