After a discussion at the pub, Alex Rose and Sam Browne from Cambridge decided to start Let’s Do This. They were frustrated by how hard it was for people to book sports events.

The pair received investments in a round of $5 million from sports stars like Serena Williams, Usain Bolt and Olympic gold medallist Usain.

Alex Rose, the cofounder, discusses how the firm was able to survive the suspension of mass participation events in the coronavirus pandemic. He also plans on expanding as there is more interest in outdoor organized exercise.
