REUTERS/Hannah McKay WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. Senate will likely vote procedurally on Wednesday whether to discuss a major overhaul to federal election laws. This was said by Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Monday. He urged Republicans not to block the measure.
Schumer (a Democrat) said that the bill to increase voters’ access mail-in votes and take other measures was worthy of discussion.
