Washington, D.C, subway reduced service to continue at least through Sunday By Reuters

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, (WMATA), has announced that the subway in Washington will be operating at reduced capacity through Sunday.

Monday’s National Transportation Safety Board statement stated that transit authorities knew about issues with wheel sets assembly since at least 2017. This includes the ones found in an Oct. 12 train derailment. 7
