WASHINGTON (Reuters] – Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority has said that nearly 60% it’s rail fleet will be used Monday by the Authority as part of an investigation into an Oct. 12 train derailment in Northern Virginia.

The subway system that services Washington, D.C. and parts of Maryland and Virginia said without those rail cars, it will “operate about 40 trains tomorrow – offering a basic service pattern on all lines of trains departing about every 30 minutes.”

Subway system said it would update the public later “about service during the remaining week”.
