REUTERS/Toby Melville/File PhotographLONDON, (Reuters) – Britain’s net zero strategy will generate 440,000 jobs in the green industry by 2030, Greg Hands, the junior energy minister, said Tuesday. He also added that it contained a mandate for zero emission vehicles to eliminate new petrol or diesel cars.
Hands claimed that “the strategy will support up 440,000 jobs across the UK across all sectors” in 2030.
The strategy also outlines that we will introduce a zero emission vehicle mandate to fulfill our 2030 promise not to sell new petrol or diesel cars or vans.
