European countries reach digital services tax deal with U.S -Breaking

PARIS, (Reuters) – The United States, Austria, Britain and France reached an agreement to transition from the current national digital taxes contested by Washington, to a new global deal on tax.
According to a agreement made by almost 140 countries, European nations have agreed to withdraw their digital services tax in accordance with the new international rules on corporate taxation.
In a political deal reached Thursday, the United States decided to end its trade retaliation that it targeted the countries. It had done so on the ground that U.S. taxes discriminated against them.
