REUTERS/Jason Reed/FilesSYDNEY, (Reuters) – Qantas Airways Ltd announced Friday that it will bring back two Airbus SE A380s (OTC:) earlier than expected and is in discussions with Boeing (NYSE;) Co regarding the delivery of three new 787-9s stored in storage in order to speed up its international flight plans.

New South Wales is home to Sydney and will permit fully-vaccinated travelers from abroad from November 1st without quarantine. Authorities said this week that the state will not require any additional quarantine. However, citizens and permanent residents will be able to take advantage of the relaxed entry restrictions initially.
Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce stated that he hopes to be able restart international flights from capital cities as the vaccination rate in other countries and territories increases. “In the interim, Sydney will be our gateway to all of the rest.”
According to local media, the state of Victoria is about to launch a similar international policy for New South Wales.
