Queen Elizabeth spent a night in hospital

LONDON (Reuters] – Queen Elizabeth, 95 years old, spent a night in hospital as part of preliminary investigations. However she returned to Windsor Castle on Thursday feeling well and in good spirits. Buckingham Palace confirmed that Elizabeth was happy to be back at Windsor Castle.

On Wednesday, the monarch cancelled her official visit to Northern Ireland. The palace said that she was told by her doctors to go home.

The palace released a statement saying that the Queen had been advised by doctors to rest for several days. She returned to Windsor Castle today at noon to continue her preliminary investigation.

The source claimed that the queen had been admitted to hospital by her doctors for medical reasons.

The source stated that she had been back to work by Thursday afternoon, and was performing some light tasks.
