Quest Diagnostics profit falls 11% on slow demand for non-COVID testing -Breaking

REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/Illustration (Reuters) – U.S. lab Quest Diagnostics Inc announced Thursday a 11% decrease in third-quarter profits due to the spreading of the deadly Delta variant, which weighed heavily on its non-coronavirus business.
From $568 million (or $4.14 per share) a year prior, the net income attributable was $505million or $4.02 per share for the quarter ending Sept. 30.
