Walmart’s Mexico unit posts net profit of 11 billion pesos -Breaking

MEXICO CITY (Reuters] – Walmart Mexico (NYSE:) reported Thursday a net profit for the third quarter of 2011 at 11 billion pesos ($535.3m), an increase from last year’s 9.2 billion.

Walmart de Mexico was the largest Mexican retailer and brought in revenue in quarter of 176 billion pesos.

($1 = 20.6420 at end-September)
