Alec Baldwin fires gun on movie set, killing cinematographer, authorities say -Breaking

(Reuters). – On Thursday, Alec Baldwin shot a protruding gun at a New Mexico film set, wounding Joel Souza and killing Halyna Utchins.

According to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place on set for “Rust”, an independent feature film.

The sheriff’s department confirmed that Rust was shot by two people. Halyna HUTCHINS, 42, was the director of photography and Joel Souza (48) were the directors. “A prop firearm was fired by Alec Baldwin (68), actor, producer,” said police in a statement.

https:// A Variety Report stated that the shooting took place at Bonanza Creek Ranch. It is a South Santa Fe production site.

The incident has not been investigated by police.

Baldwin representatives didn’t immediately reply to Reuters’ request.
