(Reuters) – Hollywood was heartbroken to remember Halyna Hutchins, cinematographer who died accidentally while filming on a set.

Baldwin shot a prop gun and killed the 42-year old woman who was acting as director of photography for the New Mexico Western set “Rush”.

As Baldwin and the film industry debated whether prop guns should be used on sets, friends and coworkers were left devastated.

Andriy Semmeyuk, fellow cinematographer, said “There’s Alec Baldwin. All these news are discussing this because they like sensations such as this.” “And I want to really focus on the memory of an extremely talented individual… and her contribution to the industry.

She was a remarkable mother and a great person. For her talent and achievements, remember her.

Hutchins, a Ukrainian national, has had a career in Los Angeles as cinematographer. He worked on 32 movies, including “Archenemy”, which starred Joe Manganiello.

“I’m in shock,” Manganiello tweeted. I was very fortunate to have Halyna Hutchins serve as my Archenemy DP. An incredible talent & great person. I can’t believe this could happen in this day and age… gunfire from a prop gun could kill a crew member? It was a tragic accident. Her family is my heartfelt condolences.”

Hutchins was born on an Arctic Circle Soviet military base. Hutchins began her career as an investigative reporter before she came to America to pursue studies at the American Film Institute. After that, she moved into film production, which was dominated by males. American Cinematographer magazine named her as a rising star for 2019.

In her last Instagram post, she is riding a horse through New Mexico. She commented on how it was one the best perks to shoot a Western in the morning.

Her agency Innovative Artists stated in a statement that Halyna Hutchins “was a rayof light.” Always smiling and always optimistic. Her early decision to take cinematography seriously was a key factor in her success. The last few years have proven that she is well on her path.

Her talent was unmatched by her love for her family. Everyone in her circle knew the end was near; she would become a superstar director of photography and a formidable force.
