London Stock Exchange Q3 revenue up 2%, says Refinitiv savings on track -Breaking

London Stock Exchange LON: Group posted 2.1% revenue growth in the third quarter. It also stated that it is on track for cost savings through the integration with Refinitiv.
According to the exchange, its pro forma basis income was 1.78 Billion Pounds ($2.46 Billions) for the three months ended September. This compares with the 1.75 Billion pounds last year.
David Schwimmer, Chief Executive of Refinitiv, stated that they are “making excellent progress” in their integration and were on target to realize 125 million pounds worth of cost synergies before 2021.
From this, Refinitiv was created. Thomson Reuters (NYSE :), parent of Reuters News. It was purchased by LSEG in a deal worth $27 billion in January 2021 by a consortium headed by Blackstone (NYSE :).
Thomson Reuters has a minor stake in LSEG. Refinitiv also pays Thomson Reuters for the news it distributes.
