SkyWest cancels 700 U.S. flights over technical issue -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. regional airline carrier SkyWest (NASDAQ: Airlines announced Thursday that it had cancelled approximately 700 flights due to an internal technical problem. This issue was fixed late Thursday.

SkyWest is a regional airline that provides service for American Airlines (NASDAQ :), United Airlines/Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines. SkyWest’s spokeswoman stated the flight affected includes cancellations until tomorrow morning, as crews and aircraft are moved. SkyWest stated that it is working to “return normal operations as soon as possible.”
