White House is not ‘actively pursuing’ use of National Guard -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The White House has not yet decided whether to utilize the National Guard at a federal level. This comes after President Joe Biden stated during a televised Townhall that he might consider using the National Guard to assist with supply chain problems.

According to a White House official who didn’t want to be identified, “Requesting use of National Guard at the State Level is under the Purview of Governors”
