Former Credit Suisse security head targeted in Swiss regulator’s investigation -Breaking

Credit Suisse (SIX) The former head of the global security services was one of three individuals targeted by a Swiss watchdog FINMA. This follows an espionage case at the bank. A lawyer spoke to Reuters Sunday.
Andreas Josephsohn, a Zurich lawyer, confirmed that his client was among three people targeted in the proceedings. He spoke on condition that his client would not be identified.
NZZ am Sonntag, a Swiss newspaper was the first to report on the fact that the ex-head of security services had been the subject of an investigation.
Credit Suisse was not available for comment immediately.
FINMA announced last Tuesday that in its proceeding against the bank, it discovered “serious organisational shortcomings” regarding how the bank controlled and monitored the observations made by some of its former top employees.
The investigation aimed to examine the conduct and knowledge of three individuals, unnamed, in order to establish their liability for violations of FINMA supervisory law at the Swiss bank.
Pierre-Olivier Bouee was the current chief operating officer of the bank. In October 2019, Pierre-Olivier Bouee and the head for global security services both resigned after a scandal involving snooping that eventually led to the resignation of Tidjane Thiam, the former Chief Executive.
