Biden says Democrats’ talks went well, hopes for spending deal before G20 -Breaking

WILMINGTON (Del. WILMINGTON, Del. (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said Monday that weekend talks with Democratic Senator Joe Manchin were successful and that he hopes for a spending agreement before the G20 climate negotiations in Glasgow next week.

As he was leaving Wilmington, Delaware for New Jersey, he said that “it went well.” There are still a few things that need to be worked out but “it went well.”
