Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index increased 0.80% and the market gained 0.36% at the Frankfurt close.

Volkswagen AG VZO O.N. was the best performer of the session. (DE:), rose 4.88%, or 9.55 points, to trade at 205.11 at the closing. In the meantime, Porsche Automobil Holding SE, DE: added 4.26 points or 4.210 to finish at 92.600. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG was up 2.29 percent or 1.960 to 87.610 late trade.

The top performers on the TecDAX were Bechtle AG (DE:) which rose 5.35% to 64.940, S&T AG (DE:) which was up 3.02% to settle at 22.48 and Nemetschek AG O.N. O.N.

TeamViewer AG, DE: was the worst performer and fell 3.40% to 12.80 late trade. Aixtron SE (DE): The stock fell 1.56% and settled at 20.240 Nordex SE O.N. (DE:), which fell 1.37% at 15.890 by the end.
