Michelin’s third-quarter sales beat expectations -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters), – French tyremaker Michelin (PA:), reported on Monday better-than-expected third quarter results, thanks to the sustained demand of truck drivers and other specialty businesses.

This group makes tyres for automobiles, planes, bikes and other equipment. It reported that sales in July-September totalled 6 Billion Euros ($6.98Billion).

The company polled analysts and predicted that quarterly sales would reach 5.80 billion euro.
