WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The Russian-based agency that orchestrated last year’s huge SolarWinds hack attack on the United States has now targeted hundreds of more organizations and companies in its latest round of cyberattacks against U.S. computer systems. Microsoft (NASDAQ) stated in a blog posting.

Microsoft posted on October 24 that Nobelium was targeting “resellers of cloud service services” in a new wave. Microsoft claimed that these attacks were part a larger campaign launched over the summer. It added that 609 customers had been notified between July 1, and Oct. 19.
