Panasonic unveils prototype battery for Tesla -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Monday’s unveiling of a prototype battery by Panasonic (OTC) was a sign that the company is looking to strengthen its business ties with Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc.

He said that there was no plans to produce cheaper lithium ironphosphate batteries (LFP) for electric vehicles.

Kazuo Tdanobu (head of Panasonic’s energy business) spoke at a media conference.
